Venice Real Estate: Big Lebowski House at 606 Venezia
606 Venezia, which was used as a location in the film The Big Lebowski, has sold below asking a year after being put on market.
From Adrian Glick Kudler at LA Curbed:
“The Dude” Lebowski’s bungalow court (from, duh, The Big Lebowski) has just sold after more than a year on the market. The Venice property has six one-bedroom units, all with side yards and garage parking, and it provided exteriors for The Dude’s place (which had a rug that really tied the room together) in the 1998 film (interiors were shot on a soundstage in West Hollywood). The court went on the market last June asking $2.295 million and suffered several false starts–four total “sale pending”s, according to Redfin–and just closed escrow yesterday at $1.59 million.
